We've (I've) freshened up the website as it was in need of an overhaul (and the software crashed meaning I could not update the hyperlinks) . Navigation is via the drop down menus at the top of the page, or the quick links to the left. Most of the site is now updated to the new format. Lots of new stuff is in the pipeline and will be unleashed as soon as it is complete. Otherwise, enjoy the website and don't take anything too seriously.

Who are Pill Harriers? :

The current Pill Harriers Sports Club at Courtybella Terrace, Newport, Gwent, was built in 1983 and officially opened in November of that year. It is a modern clubhouse with a busy bar and a good sized lounge available for private functions. Tel 01633 662668 for further details.

As well as Welsh National League Rugby, there are a number of other sports played at the club including Rugby, Football, Skittles, Darts, Pool and world championship conker fighting. Pill Harriers R.F.C. are the main faction of the club and they run two senior teams as well as a junior/youth section. The first team play in W.R.U. National League Division 2 East and the Second team play in the Newport and District leagues. Pill A.F.C. play Newport & District football at the club and have two senior sides.

The best thing about Pill Harriers is the social atmosphere. It really is the best place to be in the world when the beer is flowing and the fun and games begin. There are regular theme nights at the club which are both original and entertaining, and, throughout the year, local bands often perform live in the bar. Look on the 'What's On' page for news of forthcoming events!

There are plans for an end of season tour to Southern Ireland in the pipeline. As soon as any news on this becomes available it will be posted on the Tour Info page of this website. Brian Begg will be helping coordinate the arrangements with contacts he has in the Emerald Isle. More to follow Beejaysus!!!
